Journal Prompts for the New Year
I created House of Stellium’s manifestation journals as a way to help you slow down, check in with yourself, and turn your inner world into something tangible.
While this year’s journals are titled “Tune Into Your Intuition,” they’re rooted in three phrases I’ve lived by for years - principles that continue to guide how I journal, manifest, and move through life:
✨ What you focus on expands
Energy flows where attention goes. Journaling helps you clarify what truly deserves your energy so you can nourish what you want to grow and stop feeding what drains you.
✨ Redirection is protection
Sometimes things don’t work out because the universe has something better in store for you. Writing gives you the space to process disappointment, zoom out, and recognize where you’re being guided away from what isn’t meant for you.
✨ Your words are your wands
Language matters. The way you speak - to yourself and out loud - shapes your reality. Journaling paired with spoken intention turns thoughts into declarations and desires into momentum.
These journals are an invitation to reflect, name what you want, and give your intentions a voice - on the page and in the ether around you. Because manifestation isn’t just about thinking differently; it’s about claiming what you’re calling in so trust the journey and align with the energy of abundance.
Designed to help you reflect on 2025, set intentions for 2026, and align with the grounded energy of the January 18th New Moon in Capricorn: these journal prompts are the perfect way to manifest and call in all that you are dreaming up for the year ahead!
2025 Reflections: Two Journal Prompt Exercises
The first journal prompt relates to reflecting on the top ten things you’re proud to have accomplished over the past year. Yes, I want you to list out the TEN things you did or accomplished last year that made YOU proud!
It’s a powerful way to ground yourself in gratitude, build confidence, and set the tone for growth in the year ahead. Dig deep and make sure you don’t short yourself by not filling out all ten slots!
Why It Matters:
Reflecting on what you’re proud of shifts your focus from what’s missing to what’s working. It builds confidence, highlights what truly matters to you (the things you’re proud of often reflect what matters most to you!), and creates momentum for the year ahead.
By acknowledging your wins (big or small), you quiet self-doubt and step forward grounded in gratitude and self-trust. Celebrating past wins can quiet self-doubt and silence the inner critic, allowing you to step into the new year from a place of empowerment rather than lack.
Starting the new year by celebrating yourself lays the foundation for more meaningful and aligned manifestations in the months to come.
The second journal prompt relates to pulling back the curtain on what you might want to focus on in 2026 by reflecting on the five questions, below. Asking yourself these questions before stepping into 2026 offers a chance to reflect, realign, and reset your path forward.
What were my biggest wins of 2025?
What were my greatest sorrows?
What seeds did I plant in 2025?
What am I leaving behind?
What am I building on in 2026?
Why It Matters:
Together, these five questions create a holistic bridge between reflection and intention. Rather than rushing into goal-setting, they invite you to witness the truth of the year you’re closing - the joy, the grief, the effort, and the evolution - so you can move forward with clarity and self-trust.
Taken together, these reflections help you close the year with intention and enter the next one from a place of alignment rather than urgency - clear on what you’ve lived through, what you’ve learned, and what you’re ready to grow next.
This reflection isn’t just about planning – it’s about creating a deeper sense of self-awareness and intentionality, setting you up for a year of alignment, growth, and personal evolution.
Here’s my top ten list from 2025!
2026 Manifestation Ritual
Manifestation is the practice of turning your thoughts, desires, and intentions into reality by aligning your energy, mindset, and actions with what you want to attract. It’s rooted in the belief that your thoughts and emotions create your experiences.
Here’s how it works:
You start by getting clear on what you want. The more specific and detailed your desires, the easier it is for your subconscious and the universe to align with them. This could be a goal, relationship, experience, or even a feeling you want to cultivate.
✨ Think of it like placing an order with the universe.
Once you know what you want, visualize yourself already having it. Imagine the emotions you’d feel if it were true right now. Your brain doesn’t know the difference between imagination and reality – by feeling the emotions of success or abundance, you shift your energy to match what you desire.
✨ Your feelings are like magnets, pulling in experiences that resonate with your vibration.
Your beliefs shape your reality. If you doubt or subconsciously believe you’re not worthy, it can block manifestation. Affirmations and self-love practices help rewire limiting beliefs, creating space for what you want to arrive.
✨ Your words are your wands – speak as if your desires are already on their way.
Manifestation isn’t just about thinking – action is required. Pay attention to nudges, ideas, and opportunities that come your way. When you take small steps toward your goals, you show the universe you’re ready to receive.
✨ Manifestation is co-creation – meet the universe halfway.
Sometimes the hardest part is releasing attachment to when or how your desires will show up. By letting go, you allow space for things to align naturally – often better than you imagined.
✨ Redirection is protection – trust the timing of your life.
Celebrate every win, big or small. Gratitude raises your vibration and signals to the universe that you appreciate what’s already present, creating a cycle of abundance.
✨ What you focus on expands.
Manifestation isn’t magic—it’s neuroscience.
When you reflect with intention and name what you’re building and releasing, you train your brain to focus, notice aligned opportunities, and make different choices. Clarity shapes focus → focus shapes action → repeated action reshapes the brain. This is how real change takes root.
If you want to go a little bit deeper on this topic, check out this Mel Robbins’ podcast episode where she interviews Dr. Jim Doty, a Stanford neurosurgeon, neuroscientist, and expert on manifestation and visualization. He unpacks how neuroscience proves the power of visualization. He also gives you the mindset reset you need to make your brain work for you and to rewire it for success. It was one of my favorite listens in 2025!
This manifestation ritual relates to identifying what you want to call in in the year ahead!
Write your wishes (up to 12!) for the year ahead on long, small strips of paper. Take a photo of your papers before rolling each one up and placing them inside a pine cone with some rosemary or pine needles. In the month of January, burn the pine cone and let your desires manifest for the year ahead! After you burn it, send an intention to the universe by saying, “Thank you universe for taking this from me. I surrender it all.” Then, sit back and let the magic unfold. 🙂

The firefighter’s daughter in me wants you to practice fire safety when performing your manifestation rituals :)
Happy manifesting, and happy dreaming and planning for a prosperous 2026!
Don’t forget – you are magic.
